:salams:

It seems more and more to me that a lot of the dawah from Muslims in the West is calling toward a watered down version of Islam, and that many non Muslims who do convert are converting to this version of Islam. It feels like Islam is being presented in a way that makes it more accommodating to Western ideas and ideals, just to make it easier for non Muslims to convert. For example, I heard of a sister who converted, and one of the reasons she converted is because she was into feminism and liked the idea of "Islamic feminism." It makes me wonder who made dawah to her and what was she made to believe about Islam and what it was?

Now granted, many converts may be brought in initially through misguided people, but eventually Allah guides them to the haqq. But people should be presented the full message of Islam, no sugarcoating, and then be allowed to accept or reject.
