السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Would you? Not secular education but knowledge of the deen. (Obv after seeking knowledge)

I personally think that is an amazing thing سبحان الله and that is probably the least we could offer them. They are the most precious to both and why not give them a good upbringing by teaching them yourself, so much barakah in that and also it is beautiful!

I always said that I would feel like I failed as a parent if I didn't accomplish x and y for the deen because itl feel like I have nothing to offer them... keep at it in Sha Allah and prepare so much.

Single life won't stay for long, why not use it wisely and build up on your knowledge slowly for the benefit of the next generation in Sha Allah.

Nowadays Islamic schools/maktabs cost lloaaaads!

By teaching children I mean:
- teaching them how to read Quran
- helping them with hifz
- Fiqh
- Seerah and so on.
- Adaab and akhlaaq (be It directly or indirectly)

Isn't it an amazing thing, the mother and father educating their own, the child's first teachers in Sha Allah.
