It appears to me that the majority of men who marry are intent on shaping and moulding their wives into exactly the person they want them to be. They don't let them be themselves but instead try to change anything that they feel is not what they want. Is this the reason many men are finding it hard to marry and lots of marriages are ending in divorce? Perhaps if the men were a little more laid back and didn't try to change their wives to suit their vision it would be better?

It's so hard to marry someone you don't know, it's like a book with a blank cover, you don't know what the story is about until you open it up and start reading, but by then it might not be the story you though it would be. Would you recommend marrying a friend instead of a stranger? Someone you've known for a few years?
